Joshua Tree

Joshua Tree National Park. I feel like I could just let those 4 words be the entire blog post, followed by these photos, mostly because words don't really describe the weekend I spent there. However, I will attempt to articulate the magick that was experienced.

My dear friends hosted a yoga and hiking retreat that seamlessly wove the elements into the practice throughout the weekends journey. Indian cove camp was the perfect place to quiet the mind, connect, and explore the depth of the elements around us and within each of us. Earth. Air. Fire. Water. Spirit.

Time was spent hiking the trails, scrambling over rock formations, drumming at the fire circle, singing and chanting, elemental ritual, doing yoga under the expansive sky, solitary meditation, stargazing and howling at the moon, and sharing some fucking tasty meals created by a talented chef, we also may have drank quite a bit of wine too.  The group of people that attended were perfect. Friendships that already existed were deepened, and new friendships were created.

Thank you for the beautiful reminder that I am a divine spirit. I am connected to all. Namaste.
