Dakota at 1 week

Not all newborns are cute, sometimes I think they resemble alien like forms. Especially when they stretch their neck, there is something very E.T. about it. But, I believe this little guy is perfection, I may be partial seeing that he is my nephew and all. But, honestly, just take a look. This sleepy little cherub is such a little darling. His precious little face is fawned over by many, the family and friends that surround him are so filled with love and joy, he is in for such a sweet little life. He may even have a future as a male model if I can continue getting him in front of my lens. Dakota, prepare to have your life documented through my camera.

David Whitaker and the soon to be Amanda Whitaker

The Whitaker family is growing and I couldn't be more excited!! My brother proposed to the darling sweet Amanda Ballard, and she said "yes"!! Well, actually, when he popped the question she adorably replied with a shocked, "oh my god is this mine?" 

I simply adore these two, they make such a wonderful couple. I was honored to be the one that captured their love for their engagement photo shoot. 

Marcy Possum

Marcy knows how to rock yoga just like she knows how to rock a sparkling smile and unicorn pants and polka dotted bows in her hair and pretty much everything . Yeah, she is pretty great! We had such a fun time on our hike through Eaton Canyon up in the Pasadena foothills. The waterfall was a bit more like a trickle this time of year, but it was still such a sweet treat getting our yogi toes wet in the cool pools of fresh flowing water. 

 Not many people can make touching your toes look this cute. Check out this happy sweet goddess at any of the many yoga classes she teaches at Yoga Blend in Burbank.
