Sommer

A gorgeous and adventurous day spent at Venice Beach with the beautiful and radiant Sommer. We meandered through the alley ways, walked on the beach and boardwalk and stopped to shoot some yoga photographs like swift ninja ballerinas. It was a playful day filled with photography, yoga, the ocean, climbing on rocks, creativity, roller skates, fun, delicious vegan lunch at seed,  latte's from intelligentsia, and ended with shopping on Abbot Kinney. Not a bad way to spend the day. Thank you Sommer, for sharing your sweet smile and spirit. I really can not help but giggle with happiness and feel inspired at the same time while I look at these photographs.

Stunning, natural beauty.

If you have never taken one of her classes at Yoga Blend in Burbank, you have got to roll out your mat to experience her sweetness for yourself.

head shots

Yet again, I had the pleasure of getting this beautiful face in front of my camera. Now that Kelli's hair is long and lovely, she needed some new head shots for her agent. So here they are, as gorgeous as ever. I swear this girl can do no wrong.

shoes

I thoroughly enjoy fashion. I love planning what I am going to wear. I love to play dress up and dance around to music by myself. That being said I thought I should share a bit of that with you. Yes you. Today I embraced my inner Ellen Degeneres with my choice shoes, and socks.

Kellie and Johnny

"Your eyes they tie me down so hard
I'll never learn to put up a guard
So keep my love, my candle bright
Learn me hard, oh learn me right"

The opening to this wedding's ceremony began with those words. A quote from Mumford and Sons recited by the officiant (also man of honor), Daniel.
The ceremony was right before sunset at the Arboretum. The garden was enveloped in the light filtered through the surrounding trees. Highlighting the already lush and lovely landscape.
It was a small and intimate gathering of friends and family. Although it was of small size, there was no shortage of love and adoration surrounding this day, from the very start to the final moments.  There might have even been light sabers, an appearance from yoda, thors hammer, and mermaids on shoes. It was certainly not your average wedding ceremony. It was personalized, had lots of humor, sweetness and sincerity.
The celebration of love was so authentic, so natural, and so heartfelt.

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Rosol!

The Hamiltons

Here are some real gems from my recent photo session with the Hamiltons. We walked to the local park in Burbank and had some fun! I was just there to capture it all...

After our fun at the park, we walked back to their house. Maddie was so excited to show me her 'pretty dress'. We then got some family photos in front of their fire place.

 Such sweetness!
